She is a student at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
Commenting on the new recruits, Cory Band Musical Director Philip Harper said: “It’s great to welcome two major talents of the younger generation to Cory Band. I’ve been watching both players for a number of years and witnessing the development of their skills, musicianship and personality, and I’m delighted to have found an opportunity to bring both into Cory Band. I’m sure both Owain and Emily have a very bright future ahead of them and we’re all looking forward to having them with Cory.”
Owain and Emily will be making their contest debut with Cory for the defence of its British Open title in Birmingham in September.
